Los Fulanos is the only group around today (in Spain) that's bringing back boogaloo - that fantastic style born from the fusion of Latin rhythms and the funk-soul of the 60s New York Diaspora -the major champions of which were Ray Barretto, Joe Bataan, Willie Colon, Joe Cuba, Mongo Santamaria, Pete Rodriguez, Willie Bobo, etc...

Los Fulanos are backed by Los Menganos, a vocal trio that collaborats from time to time formed by Miguelito Superstar and Lalo López (Fundación Tony Manero, Chocadelia Internacional) and the "pequeñin" Sherriff (Dr. Calypso) - that's some luxury vocals for an elegant as hell bastard orchestra.
Los Fulanos take back the fiery torch of soul and salsa fusion and revise it with everything they've got during their overwhelming live performances and covers, where not even Prince would escape from their claws burning with rhythm and sweat.
Seeing this completely new lineup up-close, in our days of creative abstinence, means falling down and surrendering at their feet.
